			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just because it&#8217;s not full of heavy carbohydrates doesn&#8217;t mean it&#8217;s going to taste bad. Most of the foods we love don&#8217;t have alot of carbs if you think about it, fresh fruit, red meat etc.. If you can keep your diet well balanced and low carb you can still enjoy your chocolate cake once in a while too. Sticking to a low carb diet isn&#8217;t hard. Just change the foods you eat for lower carb versions. We will discuss a few tips here in this article. Also, in case you&#8217;re interested, something that has greatly helped me lose weight is <a target="_blank" href="http://www.shakenutrition.com/">Shakeology</a>. <p>Pick foods that are based upon vegetables. Vegetables have few carbs. This is good to know for when you go out to eat. Choose your side dishes based on their vegetable content. Plenty of side dishes have a higher amount of calories and are filled with carb rich foods. For instance, steamed vegetables would be viewed as an excellent side dish. They are also good for snacking. One of the most difficult components of eating a low carb diet is selecting nutritious snacks. Carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower all considered to be wonderful and carb free snacks. If there are any carbs in these veggies, then the levels are very low. </p>
<p>Use coconut flour. Coconut flour can be used as a low carb substitute for both white and wheat flour. You can still enjoy baked goods, pancakes, and other baked goods that use flour this way. Refined flour is terrible for people on a low carb diet. Coconut flour is an excellent substitute for refined flour, however. Not only that but coconut is rich in nutrients. Coconut water, for example, is a very popular health drink. You can enjoy breakfast foods made with coconut flour without worrying about the carb content.</p>
<p>Another easy way to cut down on carbs is to use a bowl instead of a tortilla. Being able to reduce your carb intake is worth having to do a couple more dishes, right? You serve dishes from fajitas to breakfast burritos out of a bowl and they will taste delicious. You still cook everything the same, but rather than putting everything into a tortilla, you use a bowl.</p>
<p>This will work for almost anything except for quesadillas and similar dishes. No matter how much you like cheese, a bowl of melted cheese does not make an appetizing meal by itself. </p>
<p>So many people think that eating low carb means eating boring food. Many also believe they will have to give up their favorite foods and snacks. But eating a low carb diet isn&#8217;t that different from eating a balanced diet. There are a variety of low carb alternatives to the high carb foods that you love. Many people are happy when they find that following a low carb diet won&#8217;t affect their lives much at all. Keep these tips in mind to help make the transition.
