@TheRogueMonk Actually some people have their abs split into 8 segments instead of 6. In some people you can only see 4 segments, because either they haven’t worked the muscles enough to bring out the definition, or there is too much fat covering them.

@virusmonster You should be able to see a 6-pack after about 1-2 months, if your body fat is low enough. (You need to be about 12% or slightly lower to see the 6-pack, at 15-20% you might see a 4-pack if you’re lucky.)
