    This guy knows what he is talking about….I was listening to your 6-16-10 show and you said “most ladies dont want to train heavy because they are afraid they are going to wake up big the next day”. hahahaha. I have some idiot friend who was telling me not to take a protein supp because I was gonna get huge like Arnold. hahahahaha the process of gaining muscle is so slow that no one ever says ” oh it….I put on just a little too much muscle”.

    @joetheazl Bruce …
    @joetheazl Bruce Lee has a very different body structure than most big body builders. many asians are ectomorphic and do not build huge hulking muscles. He also did alot of cardio training of his whole body which makes it difficult to grow huge. As a good martial artist and REAL fighter he did not want to be large- it is a hinderance for quick and nimble attacks/evasion. Bruce lee trained more for strength and power/speed not size. hope that helps….

    hey steve! i have a …
    hey steve! i have a interesting question thats been losing mind lately!! Im a great Bruce lee fan and you know hes famous for his outrageous lean, scorching ripped, define musculare body :D !! His body is completely defined and heres my question. Since his exercises are compared to bodybuilding exercises, ive seen today’s bodybuilders that carry SO MUCH MASS in their muscles, especially you ;) , and Bruce lee’s body is skinny yet so muscular. How does he avoid his muscles from bulking up?

  16. brushfour44 says:

    King,..how much do …
    King,..how much do you weigh?? Also, you say bacon and toast or toaster strudle, and chicken tenders,..there must be more to it then that I’m guessing. What I mean is,..what do you drink with those meals and what other foods do you eat with the chicken tenders at lunch lets say? Of course you know that many of the foods you listed already are both fat, sugar, and somewhat calorie dense. They are also somewhat light on fiber, bulk and nutritional content. I’ll wait for you answer.

  17. SGKingPhill says:

    @brushfour44
    Um, I …

    @brushfour44
    Um, I eat a normal breakfast, like bacon and toast or toaster struddle, then for lunch, im in school, usually eat chicken tenders, then i get home and eat what my mom cooks, healthy food though. Then a snack after i come back from the gym.

  18. brushfour44 says:

    @SGKingPhill Well …
    @SGKingPhill Well soccer is a pretty good form of cardio because you’re moving your legs a lot and doing a lot of sprinting and running. Most soccer players have good leg development and are pretty lean. There is no need to train your stomach muscles every night. 2-3 times a week is fine. The best determiners as to what your body is doing FAT- wise, is the scale and waist measurement. If the waist measurement (taken at the navel) is getting smaller, you’re losing fat. What’s your diet like?

  19. SGKingPhill says:

    @brushfour44

    @brushfour44
    Thanks a lot brush, by longer i meant growing, yea but do you mean only do cardio for a certain amount of time, because I play basketball and soccer a lot

  20. brushfour44 says:

    King,..I’m not …
    King,..I’m not Steve but I think I can help out here. If you’re working out then your body IS getting more toned. Stretching will not help your body to get leaner because you’re simply stretching. I don’t know what you mean by “longer?” To SEE your muscles better you must reduce your overall bodyfat. To do that you must do more cardio activity; Walking, jogging, stationary bike etc. Over several weeks and months time..along with a healthy lower calories diet you will see more muscle definition.

  21. SGKingPhill says:

    Hey Steve, im in …
    Hey Steve, im in high school, and I go to the gym about 2-3 times a week due to my schedule. I want my body to get lean, I work out and do sit-ups everynight, along with stretching. I can not see the results, my body is not getting toner and longer, just staying the same. You can see the ab lines, but there weak. I eat decent, average teenager meals, no soda or fast food. Any help ?

    Hey steve i have this issue where my carb intake from salads and oats doesnt appear to be enough for me to keep me going through the day, but i dont want to eat anything else that is not considered healthy since i want to lose weight. What advice can you give me?

  24. wxman34 says:

    @BodyPerformanceTV …
    @BodyPerformanceTV Thank you Steve. Your videos and correspondence have been an eye opener. I have spent so much money on supplements, amino acids and the like. I still want to continue with the multi vitamin and Protein shake after my workout, but the rest of that garbage is done. I feel better knowing this, because I was always in fear of my body attacking the hard work I have done (muscle growth) if I did not get enough protein in my system.

  25. BodyPerformanceTV says:

    @wxman34 Nope. Not with 1. A balanced diet. 2. Enough calories. 3. With proper rest. 4. Correct training.
